I received this Gardenia from a customer ( Sergio E. Serra ) to maintain it for a few months in order to make it stronger and to help accentuate its beauty. Before, the tree was in a very small pot with compact soil along with algae growing on the base – never a good sign.
The idea was first to repot it in a bigger pot with a fresh soil mixture, then to fertilise it and give it plenty of water whilst situated in a sunny place.
These things are key to growing a beautiful gardenia. Now, it is spotted with flowers, some of which will hopefully become fruit! It’s fresh green leaves also show the good health of the tree.
